Hey guys well I am about to embark on the journey of swapping out the H/C/I and also a long tube install. I replaced the rack and ball joints along with new isolators, springs and shocks. I was thinking of replacing the steering shaft while my baby is apart to just have the steering super tight (could be just a hair tighter)and was wondering which of you have used either the MM or the Flaming River steering shafts?

It seems like I will be ordering one tonight. I have pretty much rebuilt the front end and I hope that the Flaming River gives it that connected feel plus I hear it will also help when I do my long tubes.

flamming river is what i have its alot better than the stock one, but i kinda wish i went with mm steering shaft

Reggie why is the Flaming River better than the maximum motorsports? They both have the needle bearings. I'm curious too as this is on my list too.

Actully there are equal no major difference between the two

I have never been a big fan of maximum motorsports.....

I guess it really is just a matter of preference......

So Redfox why would you have gone with the MM since you bought the Flaming? What's the difference?

I have the Flaming River. You could also get the Borgeson shaft too, it along with the FR and MM shafts are basically the same other than the name.
