I'm taking my EGR off, from what I've read there isn't alot of gain/loss from it, as it is closed at WOT anyways. I think if you block it off at the head (to keep the hot exhaust out of the intake all together) remove the spacer (you can get EGR delete plates) and either plug or loop the coolant lines, the gain would come from a slightly cooler intake charge. Will it change much? I doubt it. My question is: Does the extra length of the EGR space add any performance, I mean you buy TB spacers for any application, so should it stay, even if the EGR is gone??????? |
