So ive read enough on the aod to speed swaps. i now feel confident enough to swap our 91 GT. ive read alot of different things and just need one thing cleared up.
I read a couple of times that the speedo cable is able to be used on the manual trans when swapping over form the aod. But i also read soemthing about a new speedo gear...? the speedo cable should just plug in without changing anything and no problems right???





Random question is a 91 mustang GT convertable use the OBD1 diagnostic system?

That would mean that the manual would have to be somewhat an electronic trans.

That is a good question. Plug and play, new gear and cable, or new gear, cable and dash? How about plug the hole and drive with the speed of traffic?

sorry i read what you psoted about 3 times not but i cant really make out what you just said

About the first part you wrote, Do you mean by being electronic, you mean a tranny that came with an electronic speed sensor and not a cable driven on like mine.
