Has anybody seen a 1987-1993 Mustang plastic model?
So I put my car away last weekend and will be getting laid off soon so I need something to do so I don't go completely crazy this winter. Im looking for a '87-'93 plastic model car that you would give a 9 year old. I figured I could paint it up to look like my mustang. Haven't made one in years... I just cant find one anywhere so I figured I would see if anybody on here has. Oh here is one I did find. I dont think its a winner...

You guys used to build them? I still do.
Many of the ones I have aren't produced anymore. I even have one that was called "The Monkee Mobile" and yes, it was about The Monkees from the 1960s. It's been the only hatchback GT that I've ever seen, and not be either a Cobra or convertible. Mustang GT is embossed on the skirts and an actual GT wing, not a Cobra. It had provisions for you to cut the roof out and make it a t top.
The only one I know of that isn't a convertible is the 1993 Cobra.
YES I FOUND ONE! Gotta love ebay. Its like this one but sealed. I was thinking about getting this opened one but I don't want to be missing parts for a kit they don't make anymore.

Cool, I didn't know AMT/Ertl made one. It's even got the turbines.
I know, I was so happy happy to find one with the turbines. Its exactly what I was looking for.

It's cool it doesn't have the usual Pony wheels, it's good to see some different. With as many as I've put together, I have quite a few wheels and tires I could put on there but I've never seen turbines.

I wish I still had some of the 1st models I did. They looked so horrible.

I saw the link that the other dude gave you for the one on ebay and snagged it up as fast as my fat fingers could. Its the second one in a year I have found besides the stupid lowrider one.
The first models I made, you could throw it off the table and nothing would break due to the amount of glue I used. Each one also looked like a demolition derby car with the multi color paint and lousy brush strokes.
