Hi all,
Im from the Uk and i managed to pick up an 86 5.0 ho 302 over here. I plan to convert a Mk1 Capri (englsh) into a V8 with C4 auto and a shortened 8.8rear.
The thing is, an edlebrock performer 2121 inlet has just popped up for grabs, and im thinking of whether to go for it or not. Bare in mind im aiming to make the Capri rapid on acceleration. Is ths the right manifold. Im planning to run a 600cfm holley on it too as my Dad has had the same conersion done to his. Except his is a stock 302 running 230hp, but so low geared and cracks 0-60 in just 4.8 seconds. Im after making mine one better, so can anyone help me and give me a good spec to follow so i can continue with this madass build

Theres a lad with a very fast 12second 106 GTI turbo over hereand im thinking of building a quicker 302, i know thatsgoing to be quite hard, wat with power to weight ratios etc. But hey let me know your thoughts.....
regards
