Default Explorer Injectors. Opinions?

As some of you know, I'm in the middle of removing a 302 out of a '97 Mercury 'Neer.
I have the injectors off of it, and I'm wondering if it would be worth swapping them onto my Mustang or if it'd be better to just sell them for a few extra bones.

I know they're still 19# injectors and I know about the whole 4 pintel ordeal. So I'm just wondering if, since they were basically free, should I go ahead and slap them on my Stang or what?

I would, I have read that they are better than the stock ones because the spray is evenly distributed. You wont feel a difference at all but...

On a different note. The salt and peper shakers for the wiring harness to the injectors ect, is that the same harness as the 5.0. I want a new harness for my pony, you looking to sell?

If you want to sell them you would be better off. Then just buy a new set, one thing I never do is run used injectors. And I've been playing with Mustangs for over forty years, Mike. SCT Tuner.

It is very hard to determine the life those injectors have lived. Those tiny little itty bitty holes could be cruded up just a hair and that's all it takes to have a bad day.

Unfortunately I ripped, cut, and shredded the majority of the wiring harness. Look at my gallery and you'll see that '97 'Neer is junk besides the drivetrain. So I'm only keeping/selling drivetrain parts. And any wire or hose that gets in my way gets the dykes.

Yeah, I'm kinda thinking the same as you Smurf. I'll just try to Ebay/Craigslist them for a few extra dollars.
Just wanted to hear some opinions.

Those small injectors holes must be good for something. In at least 2000 the Explorers went to the 17# injectors with no internal changes or power loss, maybe better mpg.
The Explorer wiring is one complete harness, not two separate ones like the Mustang.

Why would that help MPG? Sounds like another way to get people to have to buy more **** to me. Any mods would almost certainly need an inj upgrade.
