Default Need a new radiator.. what to buy?

anyone have any recommendations on what radiator to run?

i have a 393 stroker in my car that i will be driving to and from the track, and make a couple passes a few times a week and i want to keep it cool! any suggestions?

2 row? 3 row?

fluidyne? be cool? flex-a-lite?

all this stuff at once is killing me... its like reading a horrible book and having to do a book report.. except i don't even remember what school was like

I'm running an AFCO triple core. It's been very good.

Griffin, AFCO, Ford Racing, Fluidyne, I'd go with one of those. Even Summit and Jegs both make good radiators.

Im not the only one, and they wouldnt replace it either/ less than 2yrs old. I had it welded three times where the tank meets the runners and still think it leaks. I recommend someone else!

I would also suggest a high quality electric fan that you can run while the car is off. It seems like you are using it in a drag car so it might be something where you wire it to connect to an external power source. That way you can cool the engine with the car off. Might be something to think about too.

As for a radiator, I put a Jegs in my 79 and it does an ok job (Alum, 3 core) and my dad has a Be cool in his 83 (works amazingly). Now I cant confirm or dispute others experiences but these are mine.
