Default BBK Fuel Rails on 1986 Mustang 5.0

I am changing the intake on my 86 5.0 and noticed that my fuel rails were looking bad. At some point in time chrome rails have been installed and now they are beginning to form pits. I have bought a set of BBK aluminum rails and I have noticed a few posts that talk about problems with leaks with these rails. Any advice on installing these to help prevent any issues? Would it also be a good idea to replace the fuel regulator at this time also?

the rails are probably the stock rails and they arent chrome they are stainless steel, the pits wont affect how they work, next if you do install the new fuel rails the only advice i can give it make sure you lube all the injector o-rings with mineral oil or vegetable oil the kind used in cooking. If i were doing it I would replace all of the o-rings (2 per injector) make sure there is no crap in the holes where the injector goes into the intake manifold and also replace the FPR with an adjustable unit

Take it the o-rings can be picked up at any local parts store? Is there a certain type of o-ring that is required?
