wondering if anyone know how to id a trick flow head.

It should say the part # where the rockers are. Starts out with sbf- and I don't remember the rest. Besides that look at the combustion chambers they will be "twisted" a bit in comparison with a normal head. Hope this helps some.

There's multiple TFS heads, they all won't be the same. The newer heads have Trick Flow engraved in the ends of the head. The High Port has trapezoid shaped exhaust ports like in this picture, they're the only ones with this feature.

Good info I forgot about the high ports, I had assumed he was talking about the older set, since I have them and you're right they don't have trick flow engraved on the outside.

There's a lot of different TFS heads so any numbers would help.

the tf heads I got got nothing out side.the only thing that I could find was numbers above the headers..

A picture would help, both of the entire head and the numbers you have.

You might consider calling Trick Flow, reading the number(s) to them. That's what I did last year.
