After 2 weeks of fighting with the passenger quarter window on my 92, I finally got everything dialed in and buttoned up. It ended up being a two fold problem. First the window guide plate bushings were shot. I tore apart the trim panel and pulled the window itself and the motor. I replaced the guide plate bushings and added fresh grease to the assembly. Put the motor back in and tested it. It came down alright but wouldn't go up. I pulled the motor again and tore it apart. I found the three plastic bushings inside the motor had disintegrated. I picked up some new ones at autozone, cleaned it up and added fresh grease and put it back in. It went up, but had a big gap between the front and quarter window. Made a few more adjustments and got both windows to seal. I put it all together and I'm now getting ready to go gas her up and put her back on the road. Sorry if it's long winded but I'm just happy to be finished.
