Default Flow difference beyween E6 and GT40 heads

Does anyone know what the flow difference is between an E6 head and a GT 40. I tore my engine apart top find the lower end has been rebuilt and the cylinders are bored out .030" allready with forged pistons in the holes. I looking for a low budget option to get my Pony moving. Any ideas on HP difference. Thanks.

He probally ment the stock E7's. But the GT40P's are better than stock but there is better heads then GT40P's, if you are on a budget and want some umph they will deliver but if you have money to spend, get a good set of heads, the gt40P's are stock equipment on other ford vehicles (the explorer and mountaineer) But they are good, I can approve it, I have them but like I said, if you have money to spend, get a good set of heads.

The heads are E6SE heads off of a late model passenger car. I'm thinking one of the previous owners had a decent set of heads on this motor and threw these ones on when he sold the car. Not only that but he put a cam in a speed density motor Did a Maf coversion to take care of that little problem

I forgot to add that I can pick up a set of GT-4o for $150. Thought this was a good bang for the buck.

I'd do it. I have a set and they came out wonderfully. Definitely port and polish though.

In my opinion, for the money those iron GT40 heads are about the best value out there, especially for a street car. You'll get the best results if you can open up the breathing on both sides of the Intake/heads.
My car had the E6 heads when I bought it. Two years later I bolted on a set of F3ZE GT40 heads. Wow!
