Anyone know where the PCV valve is on a 88 GT 5.0 ? I need to replace mine.
Thanks.

the PCV valve on a fuel injected 5.0 is in the center of the lower intake in the very back. it is very difficult to see. look for a large diameter hose going to it. make sure you replace the breather screen that is under the grommet that holds the PCV valve. if it has not been changed before it will be stopped up.

NOSty is right!!!
Are you guys driving the same 5.0's as us ? ( in the valve cover )
Not all 5.0 motors are fuel injected!
But yes in 88 they were!

Be sure to replace the screen filter below the PCV valve... You will need to pull out the gromet that the PCV valve sits in and the screen filter will be under it.

my next question is can this be replaced without removing any of the intakes?

Yes you can...you may need a pick to remove the lower screen though, or maybe a long needle nose pliers. Real easy, and no removal of the upper intake is necessary.
