What is my 1989 Mustang GT Worth Honestly

Well after I have pretty much replaced everything on this car now I want to sell it and was trying to get an idea of its worth. I know that you cant get back what you have in it out, but I have over $10,000 wrapped up in it now and would like to get a fair price for it. I have also been trying to find a decent Jeep to trade for it but that aint working out so far.

NEW STUFF: paint, wheels and tires, weather stripping, interior, stereo system, exhaust system, windshield, front rotors and brakes, steering rack, new shocks, aluminum rad., BBK CAI, ceramic headers, short throw shifter, new AC evaporator, window motors, door latches, shoot I have replaced just about everything.

1989 Mustang GT, Cardinal Red, 17" Cobra Replica Black w/pPolished Lip Wheels, Smoke Grey Interior, Ceramic Shorty Headers, BBK O/R H Pipe, Flowmaster Super 44's, BBK Cold Air Intake, Short Throw Shifter, KYB Shocks & Struts, Cervinis Cobra Rear Bumper, Aluminum Radiator, Ford Motor Sports 3.73 Gears. More to come

Just don't consult Blue Book, that's the low end estimate and doesn't consider a single dollar you've put into it.

The best thing to do is to get it appraised, then you'll know the real value of the car before you proceed. Of course then you'll get those who try to lowball you into practically paying them to take it.

How is the motor and what kind of mileage is on it, that is a big ?, 10K in nothing espically if you paid someone to get it painted. Do yourself a favor and don't sell it, you wont get what you think is fair for it............I can see somebody coughing up 7K for it if it has low mileage (50-60K miles) and vechile is in minty condition..........

Keep It. You will not be able to get half of what you've put into it. This is what sucks about putting money into a old car.

Sounds like its worth over $8500 but noone is gonna be willing to pay that much for it unless you have recipes for everything you've done and prove to them its all restored. even then it will be hard to sell. may take some time

But Good Luck!

Thanks if I can't get no more than 5000 for it than I will just have to keep it, I aint going to give it away. Between motorcyles and 4 wheelers if I told my wife that I was going to buy a jeep I think she would divorce me I will just wait it out.
