yes but you need an msd 6al box to plug it into..its msd 8739

Two Step Module Selector - 8739

they also make a 3 step

if you use the 3-step rev-limiter how do you like switch between which one you want to use like the burnout and the line launch? and could you give me a link to the msd 6al box?

and for the 3 step it says that it needs to be plugged into a 7al-2 ignition will the 3-step still work with a 6al ignition?

7al was just an example..works with the 6al just fine
MSD Ignition 6420 - MSD 6AL CD Ignitions - Overview - SummitRacing.com

for the 3step,you put power to the 3rd "step" via a line lock..when you switch the line lock on,you power the 3rd rev limiter at the same time..turn the line lock off,and that limiter turns off as well

MODULE 2(high end rev limiter) - ACTIVE WITH NO VOLTAGE.(this is your high rpm rev limiter)

MODULE 1(burnout) - ACTIVE WITH 12 VOLTS ON RED WIRE.(this is activated when 12v is applied to the line lock)

MODULE 3(launch) - ACTIVE WITH 12 VOLTS ON BLUE WIRE. THIS MODULE WILL ALSO BE ACTIVE IF 12 VOLTS ARE SUPPLIED TO THE RED AND BLUE WIRES.(this is active when 12v is supplied thru a seperate clutch switch. this will be the default rpm limit if power is applied to both the line lock and the clutch switch at the same time.)

wiring diagrams for the 2 and 3 step:

Are you Boosting? If not and its just all motor why do you want a 2 step? it MIGHT give u a better launch if you cant launch urs but other then that its for Hondas or any turbo'd car and what it does is allow the turbo to spool up at the line.

o,to the op,i almost forgot..msd now has a 6al-2 box #6421..it has a built in 2step..you may want to check into that as well

MSD Ignition 6421 - MSD 6AL-2 Ignition Boxes - Overview - SummitRacing.com

the nice thing about it is that you dont have to buy any rpm pills,it has dials to adjust your rpm limits
