After a long time of trying to figure out how to do it and hearing it was difficult. i finally just took apart my gauge cluster and then everything else. took out the pin for where the numbers are rolled them back and set the pin back in. works perfect went out cruising last night witha gps and its on point. now i know alot of people have there opinions on doing this but i dont care. its for me,all new power train and i want to start freshwith the odometer, and im neverselling this car. so no fraud will be committed. plus im going to change the bulbs in the dash and test differnt colors to get a cool and unique look at night.
That's pretty funny. Why not just write down or memorized when you put in your new drivetrain and count from there?
On a separate note, if you could share the info on how to change the bulbs and some pics that'd be great, I'm trying to see if I can keep my stock gauges but go to a blue or a white bulb. I don't like the white face stickers people put on, I want the cluster to be black with white light because I'm going to get some Autometer gauges for boost etc. but want to match them to the dash. Thanks

+1, i know the feeling but it's a no no. when i put the new engine and tranny in my 95GT, my car sat at 53K miles. When i sold it with about 83K miles on it, i told them that the engine and tranny had about 30K miles. I thought that i would never ever get rid of any of the mustangs that i've had but you can't say never.
The miles also pertain to the body itself.
