curious of value of 1988 t top Mustang GT

I have a 88 mustang gt t top with convertible doors and I am trying to see if anyone knows the value of it. the interior is in good shape, no dents, never wrecked, new top seals, and a two owner car. if anyone knows how rare, if rare at all and the possible value please let me know

milleage

I am guessing that the milleage is around 160000, and I will post some pics on here and on facebook for veiwing. the only problem with the body is the rear bumper has cracks from a exhaust hanger breaking

Yeah the T Tops are an interesting bread. Some people love them, others hate them. A good clean fox with relatively low miles (say under 100k) can get 4-6k. You could still get that out of your car, because they didnt make a lot of the t tops, but you will need paint, engine rebuild, etc to make it worth that 4-6k. From what you said, I would guestimate around 3k in its current condition, but pics and mods would really help.

2004 Mustang Mach 1-281 DOHC @ 305HP, Shaker, 5 speed, 8.8 rear end with 3.55, Nitto 555,Mach 460, Sat radio, Flowmaster Delta 50s, Clear Bright Fog lights, alum items for interior dress up, and an eject button.:shiny:

Its a fairly rare car, Im pretty sure they lumped the production numbers with the t-tops in with the convertibles, so getting an actual production number would be really hard. That being said dont except an early retirement if you sell it.

I thought all the 88 t-top cars came with those doors but I could be wrong

1988 Mustang GT

They only made a short run of the T-top cars in early 1988 due to low demand and unresolved leak issues.

the doors are the same. power or manual mirrors make no difference. the only difference is shape, and location on door

heres a t-top with vert mirrors.
