Found an all stainless Borla exhaust system. Is it worth it for $200?

A guy in my town wrecked his 1989 Mustang and is selling his all stainless Borla exhaust system for $200. I currently have a Magnaflow off road x pipe, with Flowmaster Super 40 series mufflers. I like the way it sounds but the Super 40's were spray painted black (not my idea, installer took it upon himself to do this) and the paint is flaking away and looks terrible.

So my question is: Is the Borla system worth the $200? Anybody have Borla mufflers on their Mustang? How do Borla mufflers sound on a 5.0? Any comparisons to Flowmaster mufflers would be much appreciated. I really like how the Flowmasters sound, but can't stand knowing that they are flaking and have a half black/half brown camo look going on.

you might wanna get it checked out to see whether it's damaged at all. If it's a full system going for $200, there's a high chance that something's wrong with it. but it really depends on what sound you like, maybe go on youtube and check out some videos

I have seen the system and it is in perfect condition. I should mention that it is a cat back only, which is fine because I already have an x pipe. I really only care about the mufflers and want to splice them in if the sound of Borla mufflers are deep and hot rod like.

usually with exhaust, you want to buy new. after being heated, chances are it has changed its shape slightly and it might not line up perfectly. then again, that catback usually costs like $500, i know cause i looked at it. they do sound a little different but they sound good! id go for it. they do sound deep, theres a few videos on youtube you can watch

Are Borla mufflers louder than Flowmasters?

But the Borlas will keep you from sounding like 95% of the other guys. They have a good sound, it's good to be different sometimes.
