Exclamation Hi, people

Hi,

I am going to step out, and be bold - I drive a 99 Honda civic. Its fair. Had a turbo on it, running 11lbs, still slow. Now i am on to mustangs. I am seeking a 89-91 GT hatch i think. I dont enjoy the looks of the LX 100%, and i plan on gutting it just about all the way anyway. I hope....
So just here to reed up and soak up as much info as i can. I will be selling my car to get a mustang soon. Best of luck for me
My brother-in-law had on for 6-7 years, just sold it. His was a 86 LX 5.0 i think. Or 87, the last year of the Carb's for the mustangs. Thats about all i know about his
Thanks guys.

Ive seen 600whp, civics, yea, they dump 40k into the car. for 600hp?
I thinking to my self... why?

Not sure, prb a stroker or maybe some thing else. I would like to stick to FI, not carb, due to the fact that i am used to tuning FI motors and not carb's. Ive built a few larger stroker motors, w/ friends for their cars. 502 ci, chevy big block and a 552 chevy...
Still new to the ford secne,
My plans for my stang, is well ...

Buy it, looking for a black hatch GT 89-93, 89 i hope. Engine swap, i want some thing larger, i could stroke it i guess. And, turbo it. Not sure if it can support twin T4 or T06 turbos. Still got a lot of reading to do.

Im not sure on the boost w/ V8's either. Senince well, People i know in the honda's running 28-35 lbs of boost, on 115 gas, i dont hear / see much about it on this site or any others yet.
So like i said, i got a lot of reading to do.

I just started to learn the whole Ford scene too. That's why I annoy all these guys with all my questions!!!lol My first car was a '79 Mustang 4 banger 4 speed manual. Piece of ****!! It was terrible. Then I got a S10 Blazer, now a K-5 Blazer. I cant wait to sell it and buy a Stang!!! It was great for learning though, I could crawl up and sleep inside my engine compartment!!! Welcome!!!!!!

You'll need a lot of exhaust energy to get those t4's to spool. If you run a stroker with big heads then you're on the right track.

I just got back from an auto show this weekend, some one had a 600CI quad turbo V8. Pushing X amount of boost running 2300 Horsepower. I had to bow down to it. It was the best thing ive seen in my life.

As well, i dont see two T4's as all that much. Looking at the B18c1 or the B20 running on T4 turbo's and they are 1.8l and 2.0l Being the 5.0 is well, 5.0 much larger then, 2.0 V8 - 2.5, for 4, should be able to push a nice XS ball bearing T4 turbo right?

Yes, but keep in mind that those T4s used in a 1.8L or 2.0L are small for a 5.0L and up. The 1.8L and 2.0L would have much smaller inducer diameters vs. ones used commonly for 5.0s; this would obviously place a limit on your engine's peak performance. I don't have much knowledge about the smaller T4s but you can find plenty of T4 trim sizes (or other turbo kits) to match your horsepower needs.
