Pro-M 24lb MAF vs Pro-M 24lb Cobra MAF?

Not sure really what the difference would be? Could i use the cobra maf on an A9L computer or is it really only for the cobra?

The aftermarket MAF 'tricks' the cars computer into thinking it has the factory injectors in it. The cobra had 24 lb factory, the GT had 19 lb factory.

I forgot to mention i was going to get either one of these meters for my MAF conversion and ill be using it with 24lb injectors. The normal pro-m 24lb MAF meter is out of stock and i was wandering if the cobra one would work just the same since there both for 24lb injectors?

The Cobra MAF will not work unless you also have the matching Cobra computer...

A Cobra MAF is identical to a GT MAF...it is the computer that accounts for the larger injectors...

So, you CANNOT use a "Cobra" MAF to upgrade to 24# injectors...since a "Cobra" MAF is identical to a GT MAF...

and it collects dust admirably while parked for repairs in the garage...

SOLD - 1995 Black Mustang GT, AODE. Loved it, but I had to let it go...

It says "Specifically Designed For 1993 Mustang Cobra" They are the same price I would just go with the one that is suggested by them. Doesn't make sense to buy the wrong part for the same price.

No, the cobra MAF wouldn't work for your ecu... wait for the right meter to be stocked...

Again, on the Fox cars, the Cobra and GT MAF meters are very different animals...

Get it somewhere besides LRS Jegs maybe. You should be able to find a used one on Ebay.
