Default Anyone here using AFR's 165 heads?

i have been looking into the heads i want to get and came across the AFR 165cc. i really like them because they can bolt on with stock block, and pistons and what not. do they really help out a lot. i don't really want to change out anthing else (pistons crank) unless i have too, and these heads sound like just what i need. I am in no hurry, seeing as i have No money right now for Mods, so any other head that might be nice, i would love to know about them.

I'm looking into AFR 165's also. The should be good for about 70 NA HP. Just make sure you specify pedestal rockers as they come both ways. They also just improved the head so make sure you get the new one.

wow, i have had this tread sence 09/01, it is nice to see someone else is intrested in them too. i need to save up for them, and do some other little mod first but i am expecting to have the money by late spring, early summer. i know it is a long time but it is what i really want. i just hope nothing really bad happens from now til then, but i doubt it. everytime i have money, i need to spend it.

Sigh, se la vi.

Word of warning, one engine builder up here has had 3 pairs of AFR's bad right out of the box. He needed them to be machined to get the push rod holes to line up properly. Once that was fixed they worked flawlessly from there.
