Tomcat, I have the subframe connectors and the lower control arms that you are referring to. I welded the subframe connectors on my car and they seem to fit well and be good quality. The rear upper and lower control arms are also nice. I did not install them though because I have decided to wait a bit and get the full Maximum Motorsport rear setup. They are for sale if you are interested. They are on E-bay, copy and past this link: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...ADME:L:DS:MT:8

I also highly recommend Maximum Motorsport goodies. They are a bit pricey but the R&D that goes into ALL of the parts is amazing. I just installed the MM Panhard Bar setup and it fit perfect!!

Dude, thank you SOOOO much, but i am hurting for money right now,(and i still just bought a new Trottle body) so i can't buy it now. i was thinking, i am going to be making some extra cash this Chrismas. i really want to get Springs, Control arms, Sub connecters, shocks, and maybe some other things. i am thinking that control arms and sub connectors are 220, and springs are like 100 dollars. not sure about shocks though. What are good??? and any other suggestions for my plans????

No prob. For shocks it really depends on how much $ you want to spend. I just got a set of KYB struts and shocks(GR2 front and Gas-a-just rear) for about $180 for all four. They are a little better than stock replacment and I like mine for now. Tokico HP's (blue) are even better for around $300. per set. Just remember if you get "race" springs that are stiffer you'll have to get high quality shocks to go with them. Like Bilstien or Koni's. That's what I pan to do later and the only reason I havn't changed my springs yet.

The "C" springs are "somewhat race" springs. The fronts are 650 lb/in compared to stock at about 425 lb/in. The rears are the same though. The stiffer front springs will pretty much over come any stock replacment strut(i.e. KYB). Full race springs are around 700 to 850 lb/in so they will require the best of the best in struts. I had the "c" on my 93 GT a long time ago and it caused the front end to float around like a boat even with new(stock replacment) struts.

I've got KYB GR-2's all around.....my front end isn't bouncy at all......But yes I will have to replace them after a couple of years.....But I went cheap so I can save for my full coilover conversion for full race......

There are many choices when it comes to that......But...street/drag will be hard.

A lot of the key tools to a drag suspension are not made for daily street driving......so research is the key.....listen to different opinions...

Geeq, Do you have the stiff "C" springs on your car? If so maybe Im not giving the KYB's enough credit.

I got $500 in just new bushings (about $300 full set with tranny, motor mounts, all suspension and roll bar bushings, plus new roll bar ends, and I threw in all new tie rod ends and ball joints to the mix), Ford Racing C Springs (about $150) and MAC Control arms upper/lower ($220). I want to restor my car to as near as like new as possible and then build apon it to make it what For should have. When done it will be a real sleeper looking great and running like a raped ape.

In my opinion you get what you pay for with parts quality. You can do it cheap and do it over a couple times to get it right and pay more in the long run or just wait and do it right when you have the money, or as you get the money. What I do is to buy the parts as I can afford them and save them for install untill all at once when I get everything I want that is right the first time. I have not put the stuff in the car yet because I am waiting untill I can buy the Front Koni adjustable struts and the Adjustable Koni quad shochs for the rear. I do work a lot of overtime and me and my wife have a deal I get half of the overtime cash to blast or as she puts it f*@$ away on the car.
