Just wondering. Got a 93 notch, automatic. I don't usually drive fast, tryin to treat my car like a classic , but occasionally I do enjoy hearing the flowmasters as I accelerate every now and then.
I know that "leadfootedness" on a V8 will eat gas (not that the V8 won't on its own), but I just wanna know how many miles you guys average on a full tank of gas.
right now city i'm seeing 12-14mpg per tank with the winter gas formula i baby my car but i ocassionally take it above the usual 2500rpms
during the summer i averaged 16-17 city any time i was on a highway 22-24 with a best of 28 on a all highway trip cruising at 80 almost the whole way there...
I got 220miles to the tank. normally less if i'm in a Crazy mood. HAHAHAHA!!!

i get around 20 mpg in the city, and about 24 mpg on the highway, but when i had my 2.73s in my car i got around 22 city and on a 400 mile trip (all highway) i got 32 mpg!

I averaged 22mpg on the highway and about 13 in town with my old 308. Not bad for a fairly modified car, capable of high 11's without a tire change. :thumbsup With the 408 and an AOD, it got about 13-14mpg(hwy) and about the same in the city, depending on my pedal effort! That was fine with me, 'cause it was pretty fast then. The C6 uses more fuel and allows about 8mpg!
My truck gets about 19 on the hwy and 14cty.
I'm shocked at 4 banger getting 21mpg. My '90 got way more, with a best on trips of about 36mpg. It was a 5speed coupe and back then I made many trips from VA to OH and FL so I kept track of it. City mileage wasn't great, but I managed about 20mpg there.

i get i think....35.25L/100km (sorry i'm canadian) 25L=80 km but i think my o2 sensors are fried, i replaced them today @ 2 so i don't have a basis on my mileage since then, but i have noticed a big difference in the smell of my exhaust, from gas fumes to carboned exhaust pipesaswhell as i did screw with my timing a little bit i don't know what it's @ right now no light or timing tab

with 2:73 gears and no mods except for timing bump, and a k & n filter I get 16 mpg for my normal driving( I make 6 mile trips twice a day to work and back), but on a normal drive I get about 20-21mpg, and on the freeway Ive gotten 31mpg before.
