When you consider that 87 cars are now 26 years old and of that 7000+ cars only do many are still around, it is a pretty rare car to find. Especially since they didn't sell them after 87.
As a comparison, they only made 5000 93 Cobras.
A well maintained t top car should go for more money than a regular GT.

If I recall you could still order t tops in 89 through dealers and the dealer did the installation. I've also heard of people taking a t top roof and putting it onto a newer year car.
I dunno guys.
The car is a T-top, and an 89...
Beyond that, I don't own the car, or know the VIN, so it's not my fight.
Next time I see him, I'll be sure to be nosey about it.
I just know that he claims it came that way, and talks about people challenging him on the subject all the time, and he laughs about it.
