car got broken into, and a friend totalled his beautiful mustang...
so last night my car got broken into. just put a new alpine cd player in it, it got jacked, they broke out my driver side window, and stole all of my school books, a set of a friends bbk headers that were sittin in the back seat, and a radar detector. friggin bastards. if any of you happen to be in the phoenix area with your cars, be careful! supposedly phoenix is #1 for cars gettin broken into and/or stolen... also yesterday some lady blew a stop sign and ran into my friends 92 mustang GT, totalled it. this car was CLEAN, just painted silver a month ago, he just put cobra rims on it that he got powder coated black, the CLEANEST interior ive ever seen in a mustang, not 1 thing wasnt brand new on the interior, new engine, tranny, just an all around show car. gone. depressing past couple of days for mustangs around here!!!

A while back my car got the drivers side window busted to take a stupid Pyramid (as low as you can get on the audio food chain) cd player. I wasn't upset about the cd player, I was just upset about having to replace the window. Now I have custom plate that fits into the radio area that holds a oil pressure and water temp gauge.
The plate that holds aftermarket cd players is so crappy. You can literally break it apart with your barehands and remove the cdplayer. At one point I was thinking about having a cage welded around that area so it can't be removed, sort of like how people put bars around air conditioning units. I had the water/oil pressure gauges mounted in the a/c vents in my other car but decided to just put them in the radio area.
Just be sure to file a police report and tell them to patrol your area more often.
yeah i had my radar detector stolen outa my tempest, i had it for like 2 months, brand new, a good one too... it was kinda my fault though, i did leave the drivers side window down, but in my defence, it wouldn't have mattered, the passenger side and both rear side windows had been smashed out about a week earlier

God dude.. I think everyone is having bad luck this past week. My tranny in my 86 is starting go out, but that's alright.. I traded it off for a 91 GT today. But still.. everyone is having bad luck lately and about them theifs.. wtf man... can't people work for their OWN s|-|17?! it's one thing to take from the large corporations but it's another to steal from a man who's worked hard for what he has. I hope people like this rott in eternal hell. Yesterday, my mom was at work.. she gets off, walks to the parking lot to find TWO tires slashed. People are effing ignorant man I swear
