Angry Life sucks ! broke my T5 !

This just sucks, was moving the car out of the garage, engaged 1st reved it a bit and suddenly my wet shoe slip out of the clutch pedal. I heard a clunk, and that was it: T5 will engage in all gears but will not move.

Dunno yet what broke, seems like the inputshaft but im not 100% on that. I can get it into gear without clutch and nothing grinds, except a little when i try R.

Any ideas?
Will take it to the shop tuesday, i hope it is simple.

The trans is still under warranty, but im gettin sick of it, already replaced one with a broken 3rd gear.

I guess i have to save for a TKO

my t5 grinds semi-regularly when I really shift hard into 3rd. If it pukes (t5) I really want to get a t56. t5's blow.

That sucks, I hate when things break. I am waiting for my T-5 to go out the window. It doesn't sound too healthy after I installed the heads and intake. They really cannot handle much power. Bring on the T-56!!!

My T-5 sound s funny. Put it in first and u can hear like everything going on in side. I miss 2nd all the time and i'm suprised there is and teeth on the gear to grab. Plus the speed o drive gear in the housing is gone..... Was ther before and then my speedo died. I thought it chewed up the cable gear again but i took a look up inside and it was no where to be found. I think it's the second tranny for my car. The original before i owned it and then this one which seems like it's on it's last leg. So T-56 next or a Tremec TKO?

First i need to repair this one. Then save for a TKO or 3550 which i think i can get from a Chevy Truck....anyone have any info on that? someone told me that 3550s came on some GM trucks.

Found the damn shaft..around $200 with some extras it also needs.

I'm gonna do the rebuild on my own, seems pretty easy and doesnt require many special tools. If any of you would ever want to do it at home check our tech section for the "T5 rebuild manual"
