What should I do next?

I have a 89 GT that is stock besides a 6psi supercharger, mild cam , and im goin to get full 3" exhaust. Im trying to figure out what heads and upper an lower intake manifold I should buy. I want to keep my car drivable. Also what # injectors and size of fuel pump I should buy. I live at home with only a few bills but I dont want to spend a outrageous amount in it.

What is your budget and goal? Without notching pistons you two primary options are AFR165s or TW170s.

Intakes choices are many. Again need budget and goal.

Mods: AFR165 - Comp XE264-12 cam, WC T5Z, Tmoss Cobra Intake, full bolt-ons, 305 rwhp / 345 rwtq

My budget is around 1500 I could go higher if its worth the money. My goal is in the high 400s to the fly. Is my goal possible with my budget?

No need to do 3" exhaust.

What other mods do you have like fuel? Gears? TB? MAF?

You could do a GT40 set up with 10 lbs and that should put you in the low to mid 400 hp to the tires.

Correct. Vortech makes a low boost CARB legal system. Adds about 50 Hp out of the box.

Thats quite a price tag for 50hp "out of the box" though... Then you're still running stock heads.... ouch.

Suspension front & back, control arms, SFC and all the other worthwhile supporting mods....No point in having power you cant put to the ground.

Coupe it is cause it has "C.A.R.B." approval which is a very costly process.

Trick Flow Track Heat H/C/I with 42lb injectors and a 255lph pump.

And of course, UPR Products suspension to harness that power.

I was considering the trick flow. Prolly tha street burner since I have upper end already. The only thing that put me off was someone said there is a chance that the pistons would hit the valves or something like that because of how the heads are shaped or something is that true? And thanks for tha reply!

Well you got to measure but with the TF heads they move the valve placement that is why you can run a 2.02 valve.

You got a mystery cam supposedly so either way measuring is always a must.
