Ninth Digit=Check Digit

As far as I know the AOD CFI's used the M engine code. Important as it will determine things such as the right spark plug. Not sure what the F code goes to.

I,have An 86 5.0 Gt. Bought New In 86. It Has 39'000 Miles On It. The Other Day I Took It For A Ride And It Was Running Great Until I Came To A Stop And It Shut Down,it Hasn't Started Sense. It Has No Spark To The Plugs And No Pluse To The Injectors. I'm Thinking Ecm. Also No Check Engine Light Or Codes. Anybody Got Any Ideas???

All Mustangs had a B restraint code in in '85. There was no P restraint code.

There was no F or W engine code in '85. The F engine code was last seen in '83 and the W (Turbo GT) in '84. Both the CFI and the 4V 5.0L engines had the same engine code (M) in '84 and '85.
