Default Can you help ID the manufacturer of this Cobra wing

Hi, I haven't posted in quite a while. Mostly just lurking. I've got an odd question.

When I bought my '90 GT, the seller tossed in another wing, painted to match, saying he just never got around to installing it. It's got a part number on it that looks like it would be a Cervini product, but they've replied saying that it's not.

Quote:
Hello and thank you for the email. Our 204 wing is a Cervini Wing. That wing you have right there is a Cobra Wing for a hatchback. That is not made by our company. Thank you

Any guesses as to who made this thing? I'd like to know because I'll be putting it on ebay shortly and would like to know as much about it as possible.

One common response from other forums is that these wings, regardless of manufacturer were never a direct fit. Some oem wing mounting holes must be filled. That's the reason for the last two pics of the exposed holes.

I have that wing on my 88 vert. there are numerous manufactures for that product an even my wing does not have that same part number “plate” on it. If you really want to know checking the various part numbers against the manufacturers is the only way to know and if so I think your be fishing for awhile.

Good luck

Thanks for all the advice countymounty . I really apperciate it. I think I've got enough info now. I've listed the wing on Ebay.ca.

I've also got that wing, but no open holes. The body work is straight and you'd never be able to tell it was aftermarket, unless I told you.

When you sell it, just say "Cobra Wing Piece", that should work...

Thanks Young Buck! The auction started a couple days ago. I listed it as a "93 Cobra style wing"...

Thanks again!
