No worries on the seat rail.

So, I haven't been to the forums in awhile. I'll have to look for some posts about what happened to the 306 and what's in the new 331. What's the fastest you've run with the 306 before it gave up the ghost?

I need to take my stang to RMR (Rocky Mountain Raceway) here in SLC to see what she'll run.

Fastest on the 306 was 11.953 @ 116mph with the 4.10s. It gave up the ghost because after I lost that first roller lifter (and it sucked out a cam bearing) the block wouldn't hold the cam bearing anymore.

So, I have a nice 306 rotating assembly and my old stock bloek to machine for a spare, or another project.

The 331 is a DSS level 20 Pro Bullet that I got on a day's notice so I could get the car up and running again. I did change blower pulleys (to an 8 inch crank pulley from ASP) and we did a power pipe.

Next week, I'm putting in the 60 lb. injectors and a KB Boost-a-Pump so that we can get some fuel to it. Then I can let the dogs out!!!

I'll let y'all know. I'm also exploring some heat issues. For example, I'm switching to ceramic coated long tubes and wrapping my power pipe with an insulator from Jeg's that is supposed to keep out 90% of the radiant heat. I'm also thinking about fabbing up a heat shield for the blower and running a separate oil tank (and an oil cooler) to feed it.

When all that stuff is done . . . I'll prolly still be frustrated and I'll just spray the bujesus out of it . . . lol.

If you want to break something, you should put a 20 lb pulley on that sucker!!! Spray your nitro/water/meth mix with it... At least you could get that 10 second time slip in your hands! Then it's all worth it, right? LOL

It'll go 10s on the current setup if I shift it. I was trapping 121mph with the rev limiter set at 5900 . . . and I was on the limiter at the end of the track.

On a later run, I ran 11.80 at 115 . . in and out of the throttle near the line (trying to get my opponent to break out)

With the limiter back to 6700 (which is where I usually have it) I expect to trap 126-127 (or better). If I ain't runnin 10s trapping over 125 . . . then I can't freakin drive!! lol

As far as breakin stuff goes . . . I'm done for a while . . . I hope.

The 3 engines includes the stock motor that came with the car . . so I've only had to "buy" 2 engines . . . lmao
