Was driving on dry-rotted tires from New Jersey to Louisiana on a Road Trip to get my '
Stang down to my Duty Station. It had been raining in the morning but had cleared up by the time I had gotten on the Interstate, so, the roads were still wet.
In Atlanta, Georgia, the second I got on on I-20, I switch lanes, get into fourth gear and try to take off... the back end spins out from behind me, I lose control, she slams into a BMW in the next lane and we hug and spin out three times in the middle of the interstate (IN HEAVY TRAFFIC!

)
Needless to say, the entire passenger side of my vehicle was FUBAR'd. And this was the first time I had driven the car since I had bought it.
Considering I was driving at about 60 MPH, I'd say I got off easy. The car still drove, I just end up bending a strut tower and denting the frame of the car a bit. Got the work done on it and fixed it, you'd never notice now unless I told you. :thumbsup
Oh, and the BMW had to get towed. German Engineering at it's best! HAH.
