Default Keep a fox body or get a newer (not 2005 or 2006) mustang?

I have a '91 Mustang with a rebuilt '93 cobra engine. The car's registered as a 4 cylinder which is great cause it keeps my insurance low. I'm thinking about doing a lot of work to the car to get it faster and nicer, but I don't think it'd be as nice as I'd like it to be. Do you think it'd be worth buying a used V6 mustang from '94-'00 and then swapping for a V8? With the swap I'd want to put in a new manual transmisson and twin turbos (stuff I'd be doing to the '91 anyway.) Is it possible to swap the V8 with the V6? That way I'd just sell the '91 body and transmission and save a little money.

Hehe yeah I decided against getting the newer model, although another option came up. Keep the fox or buy a 1973 Mustang - http://www.ccautosales.com/cgi-bin/cc.cgi?73fordmua and fix it up (doing the same work I'd be doing to the fox)?

keep the fox. the fox has a HUGE aftermarket. pretty much anything you need you can find. there are alot of new parts with very modern engineering that can turn a fox mustang into a modern muscle machine. you cant beat the car. and youll spend WAY more money doing the same work on 73, compared to a 91.

And dont forget that it takes only a few months of payments on a new car to = what it takes to fix up your fox. Dollar for dollar, still the best car.

Good Choice. Fox's rule. They Have so many low cost upgrades that produce
noticeable results. And, you already own the car so any money you spend goes
straight to upgrades.

You're asking Loyal Fox Enthusiasts if you should keep your Sexy Fox Body, or trade it in for some New School?

Come on, man! Think about it!

Classic Car > New model . BY FAR

Not only that... but those new cars are all completely computer controlled, even more than the Fox is.

Only thing close to a computer on my Fox is the Duraspark II ignition system.
