I decided I really like the lx exh instead of the gt exh.I like the tails coming straight out.Since I want to do it right I am going to need a cobra rear bumper cover. The question is who should I get it from?I am worried about it fitting good.I am ordering my hood from cervinis & not sure if I should get it from them. Thanks guys.
Damn I sure know how to spend $.
get it from cervini. their stuff is the best. top quality, always fits perfect, etc. its just a superior product. and yes, you HAVE to get a cobra bumper, because the LX wont line up with your GT body mouldings. good luck! thats a pricey bumper, i hope you have full coverage. would be a shame to see it get destroyed by some jerk.

You can also just make cutouts in your rear cover and it will work fine, looks like the way a 99+ stangs tips come out. Not everyone likes it, but thats what i have and I like the way it looks. It wont be coming straight through the cover, like half the tip will go through the bumper and half is under so the cutout is about a half circle. Just look at a 99+ stang like i said and thats exactly how it looks.

OOORAAHH!!!
i dunno man, tailpipes on an LX bumper can be pretty nicely done. mine are pressed tightly against the body, pretty much directly at the ends as well. they dont look like they are "sticking out" at all. they look like they were meant to be there.

Im getting the mag exhaust which have 3 in tails .They should fit in the cutouts on the cobra bumper fine, correct.I dont want the tails to be too big in diameter to fit the cutouts.
3 inches might actually be too big, you're gonna need to talk to cervini on that one. if im not mistaken, the pipes on the cobras were 2.5"

I contacted them today & they said the 3in tails wont fit & I should use the LX sport w/upturn tails????,whatever that is.Im sure 2.5 in tails would work but not my 3 in tails.I guess Ill make a new thread to get more info so I dont get something thats not going to work.
