Hi,
I just purchased a 95 ford mustang convertible, and I don't know how to put the top down. The seller did it but I didn't see where the button was.
Can anyone help?

down on the console,below/in front of the parking brake handle-if it's got factory fog lights,right by that switch.u posted 4 days ago,so u probably got it by now on your own

The P brake has to be on as well, or it won't work. (Safety Feature)

Funny story.. When i bought my 95 gt convert the dealer didnt know how to put the top down so he just unlatched it started torqueing on it because he thought it was a manual top. I had no idea so i just looked around until i found the button for the top. Im glad he didnt hurt the top or i would have been jacked. Just htought i would share that

I never understtod that safety feature. My 91 doesn't need that, and I feel that people who are crazy enough to put their tops down at the wrong time deserve to have them ripped off or damaged.
