Default Best Notch Spoilers

I've got an 89 LX notch with the saleen spoiler on the back. I think it is too big and bulky (it might actually be weighing the back of my car down). I've even heard it referred to as a whale tail. I was just wondering what are some other spoilers that look good on notchbacks and what was everyones opinion on them.

Thanks

spoiler on the 92 conv would be lighter...but now that I have seen the light, after using the saleen spoiler on 2 of my notchbacks, I have decided that no spoiler looks better and more sleak

I'm not into spoilers on notches at all. I think the clean mean look is best.

Cobra spoiler on a notch might look hot....

I've thought about the cobra spoiler but I don't want it to look like I'm trying to be something I'm not. Also, I wanted to just take it off but I'm not sure how it would look and there would be bolt holes in the trunk. The only thing with the saleen spoiler is that it is so bulky and rattles when my 12's are blarin'. I guess I'm gonna have that problem anyways, I just wanted to get everyones opinion to make sure I've got the best I can. Is there any spoiler that is functional but doesn't look ridiculous?

One of the best things about Ford vehicles and the Mustang hobby is nostalgia. The parts are used/alternated on many different vehicles. That's why so many people put bullitt wheels, saleen wings, cobra body kits/emblems/intakes, mach hoods, etc. on their vehicles. I have considered putting the bullitts on my '70 F100. I ultimately decided against it because they don't make the sizes that I want (20x14 rear 18x7 front). I have even seen Rangers with Cobra Rs and Lightnings with Mach Hoods. It has nothing to do with "looking like something you're not." To tell you the truth, I have never seen a notch with a cobra spoiler. I think it would look cool....especially since a notch has NO body kit. That paired with a set of black or chrome deep dish bullitts would make for a really original notch rendition.

Otherwise, try this spoiler from Cervinis.com:

On all mustangs I think I like the spoiler look better.
There has to be a light weight one you'd love!

I love the factory one off of the '91-ish notch LX 5.0, for the notch. It looks
clean and right. No offence to anyone who owns it but, I hate the Saleen
spoiler on any stang. Unless you have a white Vert... Ice, Ice Baby!!!
