also looked at the cobra svo. but is the scoop functional?
i need pics. of all kinds of hoods to help me decide.
i only want to use cervinis b/c i live like 5 min from them and they are best.how's that for lucky.anyway. all ur help is appreciated.

IMO 4 inches is a little too extreme for the street, only because it can create a blind spot. , I like the way they look otherthan that. The 2.5" cowl is decent sized and stil noticeable to the driver(you) and anyone else who is looking at you car. I persoanlly like the Cobra SVO hood, as far as it being functional I am not sure. When I bought my Mach 1 hood for my 89 GT the scoops had to be cut out ,but it was a very simple process, so dont let that deter you if you like that hood.

yeah i agree that the 4" is too much for street. i'll look at the mach hoods.

they have a BEAUTIFUL 1.7 inch cowl. its what im getting, i love it.
but they have a 3 inch cowl too, if you think that 4 is too much, but 2 is too little.
but since you live near cervini, i would go with the 2.5" cowl. good resale value

I agree 4" too much for the street, the blind spot point was a good one.
