Default 5.0 Truck Intake on a Mustang
I was just wondering if anyone knows anyone or has personally ran a 5.0 truck manifold on a Mustang? I was on Ebay and found one for sell the guy claims he took a Cobra intake off to run it. So what do you guys think?

It has longer and smaller runners, good for torque but bad for any thing above 4500rpm. Don't waste your time.

We always used the lower truck intake and so did Saleen because of the nice port size.

It's not the lower that is the problem, it's the upper.

What type of upper Intake can I run with a lower intake like this?

I'm not sure but I think it will match up to the edelbrock. Quick way to check is with gaskets.

I've heard you can run a Holley systemax upper intake with a truck lower but good luck finding one.

that looks like the same intake i have on my 4.9 v 6 ford f150 whey would you want to put that on a mustang ?
