Default 1979 Mustang Pace Car hot new suspension, wheels & tires!

I finally put on my new suspension and wheel/tires last night. What a PITA. I used Monroe Struts/shocks with Eibach springs and the wheels are 17" Cobra R replicas. I think it turned out hot, wayyy better than I had ever expected. Now I just need to come up with 6K for body work and paint....ha. Thanks for looking.

I've received two quotes from people that go anywhere from 5K to 6K. That includes all the bodywork, rust prep, paint and the install of all the decals.

Donde es el HOODO. Are we ever going to put a hood on the pony, I'd hate to see it blow up if something were to get stuck in it, (not saying that it would dear brother) but I'll have the tow truck ready. Get a hood, might save you .0002 sec at the track next year.

They really are bad, just about every person I have ever talked to that has had them on a Stang ends up calling them SensoCraps.

Hood? Yeah, I have the hood at work right now cutting a hole out of the inside. It doesn't fit due to the motor sitting higher than stock.

No problem Brian, found them while looking for a few odds and ends for my 85 GT. They stuck in my head figuring someone might need some early Fox mouldings. I had a 79 Cobra and had trouble finding one of those pieces in 1995.
