Default 5.0 Mustang, What Color to paint?

Hey guys, I will be getting the 2 1/2 cervinis hood soon, it's already been ordered I couldn't wait any longer. Thanks to all who replied to my cowl thread. Anyway since it needs painted, I want to repaint the whole car anyway. Here's the question, car is silver right now, should I just have it nicely repainted silver along with the new hood again? or change the color completely, like white or black?

I have a black car and love it but hate keeping it clean and shiny looking. If you want the least amount of work white or the lighter the color the better. Even dirty wither looks clean. But silver is also another color that looks clean when dirty and does not show scratches like white or black. But If I had it over to do I would go with that awesome electric blue that came out in like 2001 or so.

I have had Black Mustangs and currently have a white one and a sliver one. The silver pretty much can be filthy and look clean at 40 feet, so dust that would make the black or even the white look dirty is pretty much invisible on the silver. Sliver looks great easy to keep clean. All 3 of your color choices would look good. You may also want to consider, it's alot more work (read $$$$) to change the color of a car than to just repaint the original color if it is done right.

Just remember a color chage costs more money. Then they charge extra to paint door Jams and around the trunk and hood. Mine is burgundy with silver bottom and a white rag top. I plan to paint the car white. I already have a white Cherokee and Excursion and my last 3 cars were white. So you can tell what I say.

black, but hard to keep clean. + try to polish and give wax often. i work at a vintage car wash and i've seen many black mustangs they are very hard to clean and to make them look good.
