90'5.0 Mustang rear gear install are 3.73 Summit Gears a good choice?

I am looking to install some gears in my 5.0. I have chosen to go with the 3.73. I have found a good price for summit gears they are $130. Does summit make a good gear or should I try other vendors?

im not sure what the original company that makes them now but it used to be richmond if memory serves me. could be some one different now. Ive put in a few sets and have never had a prob. Try ebay as well ive gotten some killer deals off of there as well.

I have never had a problem with summit parts. However it may be possible to get a better deal on ebay. check them both out

Thanks for the info. One more question how do I determine between the 8.0, 8.8, 9.0. I am not sure what size is in a 90' GT.

Summit is real good as far as I'm concerned! Call them and ask who makes their gears! Chances are the $125.00 ones are real good and are made by a reputable company!! I dont think ebay will beat $125 for new gears!!
