Default is a 1988 Bronco 5.0 motor a roller motor?

as the title states, i would like to know if a 1988 ford bronco 5.0 is a rollor motor or a flat tappet? thanks.

1990 5.0 LX 5-speed bbk fenderwell intake, bbk shorty headers, H-pipe, flowmasters, 3.27 gears, hurst shifter, bbk adjustable clutch cable and quadrant with firewall adjuster.

It is a roller motor; the only difference maybe if it is an HO or not find the firing order for the HO and see, but both are roller. If the cover on the intake says HO then that is half of the battle. The 85-93 5.0 motors are the same no matter what car it is in the difference is HO or non HO.

are the internals forged?

about how much could one get from the intake and heads?

If I am not mistaken some of the the HO's piston's were forged like my 86 after I tore it apart but most are that hipertecnic stuff. U could get it at least 500$ for everything used anything more for a used motor is too much considering possible motor work. But u can get quite a lot of power out of a stock setup. To tell u the truth buy the new 5.0 block they are selling now, and build it from scratch forged internals, rods, cam, everything, and put on a carb for the most bang for the buck, and u know u are starting with a fresh block with no machine work that could bring you project very deep into your wallet.
