I was wondering if you guys think finding a roller former 5.0 notchback with nothing, but the engine/tranny needed would be a better investment then buying a complete 5.0 notchback? Assume that all the suspension, body, etc. is ready except for the engine/tranny. Any opinions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Be patient and look through a trader mag for somebody's project they they are sick of and jump on it exp if it has a lot of mods but minor problems I have seen many a 5.0 sell for dirt cheap with gt40 heads and full brakes kits and suspension mods, because of a baby on the way, a deployment, divorce, or someone sick of some simple electrical problem.
