Just bought a 1992 1/2 Mustang Limited Edition

Hi there,

I am new to the board and have been an avid mustang collector buyer for some time. I am picking up a 92 LX special edition vert tomorrow and the car has 24,000 original miles. The car is unmolested and is in mint condition. The car is also pretty rare, as it was ordered with A/C delete. Any other owners on board?

Also, I bought a 2001 Mustang GT vert 2 weeks ago with 4,800 miles. It is true blue with white top and white leather interior. Also a fairly rare color combo.

Cheers

Hiya and welcome. You also made a lot of people jealous... 2 cars in 2 weeks??? Leave some for us now...
Cool deal about the Special Edition. What color? Funny thing is the website owner himself has one.

Thanks.....it is vibrant red and white top/leather interior. I hope to get some pics up next week as I will have to ask my 12 year old for help with the computer. I live in Canada and with the US dollar being so low and Canadian dollar being so high I see this as an opportunity to start accumulating some cars.

I also have a 92 1/2 Limited Edition that I purchased in 1997. Unfortunately it had 59,700 miles when purchased and now has 74,000. The only weak part that I can see is the transmission if yours is the same as mine(2 speed + overdrive) . As far as I know it is totally stock but since it has as many miles on it I am considering changing out the transmission that can take advantage of some of the horsepower.

If he has only 1/2/D then he is in need of a trans rebuild. A 3 sp auto is a c4/c5/c6. 92 came with aod 1/2/d[QUOTE]/OD and... Dang nab new comers 2007 really!
