How much Horsepower does a 1995 Mustang GT 5.0L have??
[size=1][font=times new roman][color=indigo] Can somebody please tell me how much horsepower a 1995 mustang gt 5.0L has? I also have a 1989 Mustang LX 5.0L anyone know the horsepower that they have stock?
The 89 is faster if still in good tune. Both cars have close power ratings but the 89 engine electronics offer a better power curve. The 89 is also a lighter vehicle.
I have owned a 1995 gt since it came of the showroom floor, it has apx 201,000 miles on it. Stock from Ford it origionally came out at 225 horse and 275 fooot lbs of torque. however about 5 months after it was out it was revised to 215 and 275 respectively.
The '89 was rated at 225hp/300lbft at the crank while the '95 was rated at 215hp/285lbft.
In reality, the '89 puts down about 195-200rwhp/265-270rwtq behind a T5 which is equivalent to 225-230hp/305-310lbft, so it was slightly underrated.
The '95 puts down about 5rwhp/5rwtq less than the '89 (equivalent to 220-225hp/300-305lbft crank) so that was underrated a bit more than the '89.
I have a 94 gt. I have a squeak in my front dr. wheel. It sounds like i need breaks, but i don't because i just got new breaks. I brought it back where i got the brakes and they sanded the inside of the rim. I still have the noise. Any ideas?

I think when the 1996 GT mod motors came out they tried to start down grading the hp on the previous 5.0 liter motors to combat why the orginal 4.6 was only rated at 215 hp, they didn't want to market a motor after the legendary 5.0 as having less HP
