Check everything you can, fix whatever needs to be fixed, prep for spring, so the first nice day you can drive it. that or just drive it in the winter (just wash it when you are done)
Unfortunately I have to drive mine everyday as well. I had a nice 2000 Cavalier until I smashed a huge deer with it late October that was supposed to be my daily driver and winter car but things didnt work out that way. Now living here in Ohio I am kinda hurting due to the snow we get and the fact that I have the WORST tires in the world under my car. DO NOT BUY FUZION ZRI or HRI tires from Firestone... They are terrible on Mustangs.
I am taking this winter very nice and easy as far as driving and letting my legs get me where I need to go if necessary. I have been researching many parts to build this car up to my goal of 400 rwhp. Being cleaning the garage and working on others cars to help make enough money to buy new heads, cam and intake.

TO: Ricers- 1) there's no replacement for displacement 2) my lug nuts require more torque than your engine makes 3) a light car doesn't excuse a weak engine 4) a bottle of pepsi has more liters than your car. Eating rice builds muscle!
I try driving mine whenever i can, last time i drove it it started snowing while i was out, i ended up getting stuck and towed into 2 different parking lots. The 2nd time the guy stopped while i was on a patch of ice so i kept sliding and bumped into him, only broke the front of a headlight though.

when it wants to start. so when it doesn't start, thats how i spend my time. I dont have heat in it and no AC. so if it's too cold it doesn't get driven. and with the gas prices going up it might be put up for a long time. but i am having a 8.8 disc brake rear done up for it now.

What you need to do is get yourself a truck. Then you can tinker on the truck all summer and drive it in the winter. Tinker on the car all winter and drive it in the summer. Trucks are people too you know.

I look at videos, read magazines, and think of what I am going to do to the car next. I am selling this one though. I am going to get a notch. this one is too nice to abuse. The next one will get a complete rebuild and a turbo!

Reason: fix
Great thing about being a rookie stang owner...i never got to experience the stang before winter(mainly cause mine is in parts..) SO over the winter i'm putting it all back together with a little performance mods here and there and hopefully come spring time i'll let it eat some rice and crush some pavement...untill then i'll just drive around my supercharged grand prix and smoke ricers in that...hahahaha...
