How do you all manage to pass the time during the winter without your Mustang?
I bought my car in October, got to drive it ONE day and now it's stored til spring, an hour away.
It isn't even January and I'm dying to just DRIVE IT!
You can get inside it and do a complete detailing, you can disassemble some parts like under the hood or undercarriage for painting, or refurbish the paint with a total paint scrub, polishing and waxing.

When I lived in colorado I actually had to drive it year round in the snow on drag radials, not much fun, I eventually wised up and bought a little beater to drive around. I would jus start saving up for things for my ride and think of a plan to do to my car for when winter would finally leave. It sucked but it was better than potentially wreckin my baby in the snow.

I will have pics up on here in spring. our goal will be to hit carlisle with new suspension breaks and body. not sure if there will be enough time for the twins.

Parts in the basement : To much to list. heres a hint..it involves a watts link and turbos.
I find winter is moving along quite well, I'm extremely busy with my snow contracts this year, plus i work full time in a concrete buisness and i have a 11month old boy to keep intertain.
Cept couple of weeks ago, the wife wasn't too happy because i was always out...work from 6:30am till about 5:00pm, then go out on snow from 5:30pm come home around 4:30-5:00am then go back to work...
if i'm too bored though, i just paint some stuff on the 5.0L
Too bad it is an hour away because this is a good time to buy and put on parts. Just got some money for Christmas, got all the time I need, why not tear into the engine? It makes it that much better when you do get to take it out in the spring and it is even more powerful then when it was first put into storage.
Interesting that most of the responders to this thread live in COLD places. Guess they are the folks that have a problem finding things to do. We don't get a bunch of snow here in middle Tennessee. Most winters, just a trace. The heater in the Mustang works just fine. But if it's colder than I'd like, my shop is 30X50, insulated, heated, phone, stereo, etc. Got a good place to hang out if it's too cold to be outside. I even ride the Harley in the winter (occasionally!).
