Default Upgrade 8mm to 9mm Wires?

I have enough bolt ons for my 95 GT to place it pretty close to 300 HP at the rear wheels.

Included in these, are an MSD 6a, MSD Coil, Accel Cap and Rotor, Autolite 24s (14 degrees timing), and Taylor 8mm Red Wires.

Will I pick up any performance gains if I upgrade to 9mm Ford Motorsport Red wires? Its a drag racing car, so I'll be looking for any minor ET improvements.

As long as there's something to be gained.

How much does a set of FMS wires run?

Woops, I meant to say crank. Let me edit that...

Gosh, I wish I had 300 at the wheels.

E303 Cam
1.6 Proform RR's
Comp Springs
Explorer upper/lower intake
65mm BBK throttle Body
77mm Pro-M MAF w/ K&N
MAC Headers through no Cats and 40s 2 chamber Flowmasters
MSD 6A and MSD Coil
14 Degrees Timing with 24Autolites
Ford Aluminum Driveshaft
Underdrive Pulleys

Other non engine mods are:
3.55 Gears
Ford Subframe Connectors
Mickey Thompson ET Streets
King Cobra Clutch
Pro 5.0

I've been told anywhere from 288 to 270 at the crankshaft.

Alright, I'll stick with my Taylor 8mm's.

They really need a cleaning, though. What can I use to scrub them off good?

IMO Moroso blue max and MSD wires are the best wires cause they draw less omhs per inch than others and last a hell of a long time.

To clean your wires use WD-40 spray on a rag wipe of dirt and wipe clean with a clean rag.

The only reason I switched wires first was that i needed a tune-up.. and so i knew when they were changed last... to protect wires, use some hand soap or hair spray on the wires then they should just wipe off when they get dirty..
