I changed out the hood on my 1995 Mustang and it fits well with correct spacing between the fenders but is high in the back toward the windshield. Can anyone tell me how to adjust it so it is lower in the back and in line with the plastic piece directly in front of the windshield? Thanks.
If you are still looking for how to adjust your hood, look at the shaft that the hood pivots on when you raise and lower it. One end of that shaft has a nut on it. The hinge has a adjustment slot that allows the hood to be moved up and down when that nut is loosened. There is a rubber cover around where the hinge goes under the wiper cowl that you may have to hold back so you can get to the nut I mentioned.
Thats great. I saw that nut but didn't want to do anything until I knew exactly how to adjust it. Thank You very much for that post as it will make the car look so much better.
