Default why wont Trans kick down when i step on it
Today I tried out an 89 GT automatic and when I got on the pedal it wouldn't kick into passing gear or "second gear".. What could be wrong with it..

Most likely it wil be the kickdown by the throttle body. If you have to manually change gears this is another sign.
