Default Bad throwout bearing?

Can anyone tell me what one of these sounds like? I have a slight grinding noise near my midpipe at idle and when i rev it slightly. Its goes on and off. Im not sure what it is.

A throwout bearing can make a whistling noise of sometype but will go away when you engage or disengage the clutch... if you rev your motor it will not make a bad throwout bearing noise go away!

Does the grinding noise start or stop when the clutch is depressed?

you know when your throwout bearing is out when you press the clutch and the noise goes away.

Ok well first of all its more like a grind/buzz noise. Um well it usually does it when the car hasn't been started in a few hours. I just got home and posted this thread. So when i saw your reply i went out to check if it does it with my foot on the clutch. The car isnt making the noise right now. However it was doing it at last place i was before home and my foot was not touching the clutch at all.

Hard to tell what it is. If i was there to hear it then i can probably pin point the problem. Get a tranny diagnostic

Throwout bearings tend to "chirp, chirp, chirp" and go away when the clutch is pressed

Hard to tell a noise from a post, too bad you don't have a sound clip of it.
