Question Lifter Question?

I have a 351W just rebuilt, I have about 200 miles on the new engine. The car has a 260H cam and lifters new. The car gobbled up 2 AOD's in that 200 miles. I have since bought a new T56 6 speed to handle the power, now that the tranny can handle it I have bought a new cam a Wolverine blue racer about 4 cams up from the 260H, here is the spec sheet.

Here is my question, do you think I can reuse the lifters with 200 miles on them from the 260H cam with the new cam, is 200 miles enough to make a differnce in the lifters, wear wise into the cam? I paid like $100 Canadian for the lifters and really would rather not shell out that money again if I thought that they wouldn't have had a chance to really wear in to the 260H cam.

If anyone would like to comment on my combo would be appreciated,

No Brian - Do not reuse the lifters. They have a wear pattern that is set at the cam break in. The lifters will not match up to the new cam, and will damage it when you run the new cam in.

Thanks Jarrett, will go pick up a new set before I pop in the new cam. will mark the old ones so as to keep them and sell the old cam and lifters.
